Real Minero 2022 Espadín / Largo / Tobalá Capón/ Blanca | 700ml

Mezcal producer Edgar Ángeles Carreño first roasted the agaves in a conical earthen oven for several days (depending of weather conditions and amount of agave is the cooking time required), than he crushed the cooked agaves in an electric mill before fermentation in sabino wood vast with well water, and double distilled in Filipino style clay pot stills. Rested in glass for 1 month before bottling. Only 56 liters made in March 2022.

This expression is made with 48% cultivated maguey Espadín (Agave angustifolia - 10 years average age), 26% wild maguey Largo (Agave karwinskii - 14 years average of age), 18% wild maguey Tobalá Capón (Agave semanianna - 12 years average of age) and 8% cultivated maguey Blanca (Agave americana - 15 years average age).

If you want to try an ensamble (mix or mixture in Spanish) of unique and rare agaves, this is the one!

  • Roasted in truncated conical earthen oven 
  • Fermented in open air sabino barrels with natural yeast using well water 
  • Electric Mill for crushing the agaves
  • Double-distilled in Filipino style clay pot still 
  • 54.8% ABV
  • 56 liters produced
  • Rested in glass container for 1 month before bottling for us!
