Real Minero 2022 Marteño / Barril / Cirial / Largo | 700ml.

Maestro Mezcalero Edgar Ángeles Carreño made this special batch of 4 Agave karwinskii specially for Denmark!

This expression has 40% cultivated maguey Marteño (Agave Karwinskii - 13 years average age), 26% cultivated maguey Barril (Agave karwinskii - 15 years average age), 23% wild maguey Cirial (Agave karwinskii - 13 years average age) and 11% wild maguey Largo (Agave karwinskii - 14 years average age)

First he cooked the hearts of the agaves "piñas"  in a conical earthen oven for several days like he does with other productions (the cooking time depends on weather conditions and amount of agave), then he mashed the agave with an electric mill before fermentation using only natural yeast and well water, and then double distilled it in Filipino style clay pot stills. Finally, he let the 42 litres of this small batch production rest in glass for 1 month before bottling and send it directly to us. We only have 60 bottles available and they won't last too long so get yours soon!

  • 50.3% ABV
  • 42 liters produced
  • Rested in glass container for 1 month before bottling
