Real Minero 2022 Marteño / Sierruda / Carne | 700ml

This blend consists of 79% matured Marteño (Agave karwinskii - average age of 13 years), 16% Sierra (Agave americana - average age of 20 years), and 5% Carne (Agave sp - average age of 15 years) cultivated by the Angeles Carreño Family and produced by master distiller Edgar Ángeles Carreño. The three agaves are slow-roasted for several days in a traditional conical oven, then crushed using an electric mill. After fermentation in sabino wood vats with pure water, the mezcal is double distilled using traditional Filipino-style clay pot stills. Only 26 liters were produced in April 2022 and the final product is rested for 1 month in glass before being bottled. This limited edition mezcal is one of only 37 bottles available.
